The MAD project — Marketplace for Ageing & Disability — led to the development of an integrated platform of services and technologies designed to improve the autonomy and safety of older people.

The system revolves around the Smart Care Box, a home device equipped with Artificial Intelligence that detects risks and enables hands-free communication channels.

Through a marketplace and a web portal, MAD facilitates the connection between the needs of "silver" users and a broad ecosystem of qualified providers.

A specialised Service Centre ensures continuous support, intervening promptly in the event of environmental alarms or specific user needs.

MAD integrates home automation, telemedicine and personalised assistance to promote active and protected ageing at home.
